Rides & Events

Here at Get Outdoors in Greensboro, NC, we are invested in the local cycling community. That means we want to help organize and promote cycling as a healthy lifestyle and a fun activity.

We support many rides throughout the year and will post updates on social media.

Safe bike rides require, at a minimum, an appropriate bike in good working order, water, and a helmet. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, maybe a little cash in case we stop, and your biggest smile! Many rides are held subject to weather. It's a good idea to confirm dates, time and any specific requirements, too. We'll see you out there — and have fun!

If you would like to stay up to date, find us on Facebook or email us at info@getoutdoorsnc.com if you have any questions.

***Lights are required for MTB Ride during daylight savings time.***

On our no-drop rides, we have a policy of never leaving a rider behind. This is intended to encourage new riders, or those not familiar with the route, to join us with the confidence that they will not be left to fend for themselves. Our ride leaders are also experienced in handling minor road and trail-side repairs, such as repairing a flat or putting a thrown chain back on the drivetrain.
